What is Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a focused state of awareness where the subconscious level of the mind is in a state of heightened suggestibility. Being in hypnosis is very similar to a deep state of meditation and generally feels very relaxing and calming.

 

Hypnotherapy is the use of verbal therapeutic techniques alongside hypnosis which can help alleviate many physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues. The utilisation of this practice is vast and it is a surprisingly simple yet profoundly effective and empowering practice. 

 

The role of the Hypnotherapist is to facilitate and guide you using verbal techniques that connect directly to your subconscious mind. The change comes from your minds wonderful ability to constantly adapt and change.

What can you expect?

We begin with an initial free of charge exploratory phone call or email is offered to understand if it's appropriate for us to work together.

 

If we decide to go ahead, I undertake a thorough and thoughtful consultation to understand what issue(s) are to be worked on and to establish your goal(s). Then, whilst being sat comfortably, you will be guided into hypnosis. Once a suitable hypnotic depth has been achieved, hypnotherapy techniques will be used to help you achieve your goals.

Hypnotherapy can be done online and in person. Both methods are equally effective. You can mix and match how you have the sessions to best suit your life requirements. Online sessions are offered at a lower cost.

How many sessions will I need?

There is no definitive answer to this as everyone is different. Generally, a person's goal can be achieved in just a few sessions. A person's willingness and commitment to change is a big factor in the overall success of hypnotherapy.

 

We will work in a collaborative way each session, to ensure you are getting the most out of it and are moving effectively towards your goal(s).

How much does it cost?

In person consultation + initial session 2hrs - £123

In person follow up sessions 1.5hrs - £88

Online consultation + initial session 2hrs - £103

Online follow up sessions 1.5hrs - £68

I believe that everyone deserves access to improve their well-being therefore I reserve two appointments each month for those on a low income, these are available on a first come first served basis. Please only ask for this option if this truly applies to you. I hope to increase the availability of these appointments soon! See prices below:

Concession prices:

In person consultation + initial session 2hrs - £90

In person follow up sessions 1.5hrs - £55

Online consultation + initial session 2hrs - £70

Online follow up sessions 1.5hrs - £35

Important

Hypnotherapy is contra-indicated (not recommended) for those suffering any forms or psychosis, severe depression, dementia, diminished/poor mental capacity and brain damage. There are other conditions that require caution, and these will be discussed during an initial exploratory email or phone call.

Cancellation Policy

Life happens, I get it! So, if you are unable to attend your appointment please provide a minimum of 48hrs notice as this is required for me to avoid a cancellation charge for the room hire and provides a greater opportunity for your space to be offered to another. I'm afraid failure to do so may result in you being charged a fee for your missed appointment. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
